​Safe Food Resources is a world class food safety training and consulting firm focused on partnering with food manufacturing companies who need assistance in understanding and preparing for food safety regulations and third-party audit compliance. Our food safety training and consulting services have a long history of satisfied students and clients.

What We Do

​Food Safety Training, Food Safety Consulting, E-Learning Development and Distribution

​We provide public and private food safety training and certifications for food safety professionals who are interested in learning and expanding their skills to develop and maintain food safety and quality systems in the food manufacturing environment. Our certification courses include HACCP, Preventive Controls for Human Food, Intentional Adulteration, and Foreign Supplier Verification. Each course is designed to ensure maximum learning with small class sizes and group exercises that put the learners in the driver's seat.

We provide food safety consulting services to food manufacturing facilities at each step in the food chain. Whether you are a farm, packer, manufacturer, or distributer, we have the knowledge and skills to help you achieve your food safety goals. We help with third-party food safety audits (SQF, BRC, FSSC22000, AIB, GAP, Primus, Organic, etc.) including initial assessments, systems development (policy, procedures, forms, etc.), implementation assistance, internal audit assessments, and final audit accompaniment.

We offer on-line food safety training through our e-learning portal, Safe Food University. The passing of the Food Safety Modernization Act requires that front line employees receive annual food safety and food hygiene training. Our courses are designed, in both English and Spanish, to easily help you in meeting these requirements. They are between 5 – 13 minutes long and provide impactful information to your employees. The customized branded learning portal will track the training for you and your employees by providing the necessary records you need for regulatory and audit compliance. We also build custom courses if you’d like to take you e-learning to the next level.

Our Leader

Vicky Waskiewicz

​After spending a lifetime in the food industry, Vicky’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to start Safe Food Resources with a desire to challenge herself to help as many food production companies as possible. Her vision of creating food safety heroes far and wide has resulted in success for clients and students throughout the United States.

She teaches food safety with passion whether that is in the classroom, in a conference room, or on the production floor at a clients facility. Her goal is to ensure that all individuals who cross her professional path understand that they have an impact on food safety, not just at the factory, but at the consumers homes. She works to inspire the next generation of food safety professionals.

Vicky’s approach is a testament to her career. She can teach all levels of an organization because she has worked at all levels of an organization, from being a third-shift sanitation technician, to production, to machine operation, and everything in between. She meets the learner at their level. 

She easily transitions to working with Senior Managers in project management after spending many years at the Management Level at a variety of food manufacturing companies. Her leadership ability helps bridge the gap between levels when implementing changes at an organization.
