Good Manufacturing Practices

If you are a small company and just getting started in the food industry, you may want to start your journey into food safety by achieving a GMP Certification. Safe Food Resources works with manufacturers who are in the infancy stages of developing a food safety system. We work with you and teach you basic requirements of food safety and GMP’s by inspecting your facility and reviewing your policy and programs. Beyond that, we are able to assist in writing of programs and training your employees.

HACCP

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Food Safety Systems are relevant for many different food products like meats, poultry, seafood and juices. We will work with your HACCP team to develop a plan based on the Codex Principles methodology. We will help you identify hazards and implement controls to reduce or eliminate them. We also perform public or private HACCP Training sessions.

Preventive Controls

The Food Safety Modernization Act requires all food manufacturers that are not under the HACCP Regulations must meet the Preventive Control regulations. Our consultants are prepared to help you understand the regulations and provide guidance in the development of food safety and foreign supplier programs. We also offer FSPCA courses in public or private format. These include:  Preventive Control for Human Food and Foreign Supplier Verification Programs or FSVP.

Global Food Safety Initiative

We specialize in the development and implementation of Food Safety and Quality Systems based on the Global standards. Our technical writers design maintainable policies and procedures to conform to your chosen GFSI Audit scheme. Our consultants have successful track records in their area of expertise and enjoy watching the transformation facilities make through the process. We specialize in SQF, BRC and FSSC22000.
